In the heart of eastern Corsica, the Musée Archéologique d’Aléria tells the story of over 10,000 years of history — from the Neolithic to the modern era, through Etruscans, Greeks, Romans, Byzantines, and Genoese.

Officina82 designed the new ticket office and introductory exhibition spaces, transforming them into an immersive journey through archaeology, history, and landscape. Custom-made display cases, evocative graphics, and a three-dimensional timeline guide visitors across centuries and artifacts. The final room is dedicated to Aléria’s deep connection with the sea, with installations inspired by underwater excavations. A journey through time, between land and water.
