Project overview: the chicken coop designed for the Ciancavaré garden nursery is the first of a series of small buildings which seek the place-function-material dialogue.

 

New life and new meanings are given to the recycled and re-used construction materials, through a strong concept which optimises the resources to create pleasant-looking, low-cost objects. 

 

Born from a dream, through an architectural study and a maquette, assembled straddling a dry stone wall by Martin Hackemberg, a German cabinetmaker relocated to Helsinki, professor at the Kuvataideakatemia - School of Fine Arts of the Finnish capital.
